    54 Station Place, Sunshine VIC 3020. We are right opposite of the Sunshine Train Station on the side where the main bus/taxi depot is.
  • Where is the best place to park my car?
    There is free public parking all around our premises. The best parking location would be along Withers Street, Dickson Street or at the Sunshine Train Station. We are also easily accessible via public transporation if you prefer not driving.
  • Can I still order through Academic Solutionz even though my school booklist is from a different supplier?
    Yes, of course! We stock books for all schools throughout Victoria. Please visit our bookshop or search our online store for the books that you require. If there is a certain book that you cannot find, please do not hesitate to contact us!
  • Why is no one picking up my phone calls?
    The Summer period is our busiest time of the year so we do apologise if your calls are not getting through. Our team is trying our best to answer all your queries and calls, however all our lines can be constantly busy.   • How do I check the status of my online order?
    If your online order has been dispatched, you would receive either a SMS or email with your tracking number and details on how to track the delivery. If your online order has not been dispatched yet, please allow up to 5 working days. If you have not heard from us after 5 working days, please have your order number ready on the phone or email us:
  • How long does shipping/postage take?
    Most orders are processed and packaged within 5 business days. On most occasions, it will take 1-2 business days for the courier to deliver it to your address. If there is a delay with any items on your order, our staff will contact you to let you know. During our Back to School period you may experience some delays receiving your order due to the influx of orders that we experience during this time.
  • Can I make a special order for an item I cannot find on your website?
    Yes. We are able to order almost any book you may require! Please email us at with the item you cannot find and we will be in contact shortly with availability and pricing.
  • What will happen if I order a book that has not been published yet?
    If a book that you have ordered has a late release date, it will remain on backorder for you. If the release date after 31 December 2023, the rest of your items will be shipped to you first. Otherwise if the book is expected to be received before 31 December, we will wait for your order to be fully complete before posting it out to you. Once the backordered book is published and becomes available, it will be sent out to your address as soon as possible.
  • Can I order second hand books online?
    Yes you can! You can now see our second hand stock availability from the main menu selection. All second hand books are firm sales and cannot be returned. We highly recommend visiting our store so that you can view the condition of the second hand books in person and purchase them in directly in store. Please note: due to the high turnover of second hand books and constant stock variation, there may be a 24 hour delay in seeing the updated stock. Our staff will contact you if there are any issues relating to your second hand item.
  • What payment methods do you accept for online orders?
    We accept Visa and Mastercard.
  • Is it safe to pay with my credit card on your website?
    Yes. Your credit card information and details will not be stored under any circumstances. Our website uses a secure standard industry payment system with SSL security encryption and ISO/PCI security certifications.
  • What method of delivery will be used to send my online order?
    Orders are securely packaged and shipped via one of our partnered courier or Australia Post. We cannot post to PO Boxes so please provide an appropriate address to avoid any delays.
  • How can I check if a book is available?
    You’re more than welcome to use any of the following to check availability: Email (Recommended method if you have more than 2-3 books to ask about.   • When an item is ‘out of stock’ how long does it take to arrive in store?
    It depends on the particular title as there are several reasons why a book is on backorder. Please contact us for an estimate time.
  • I purchased a digital resource from the online store. How will I receive my digital code?
    All digital only products will be sent through to your nominated email. Digital codes are sent within 2-3 business days of the order date. If you have not received anything in your inbox, please check your spam/junk box.
  • I can't find a book that I am looking for, can I still order it?"
    Yes! There are thousands of titles out there and we are continuously adding to our online catelogue so if you cannot find something that you're after, please let us know as we can most likely order it in for you! If it is on your school book list and is not an exclusive-school published book then we should not have problems getting it in! Simply call up our store or send through a message via the contact page!
  • What is your Returns Policy?
    At Academic Solutionz, we strive to provide the best possible service to our customers. Please carefully review your cart before making a purchase, as we are unable to offer refunds for change of mind or cancellation once your order has been placed. However, we do offer exchanges or store credit in the following circumstances: 1. Change of mind before 15th February 2024 or within 14 days of purchase for books only. We understand that people's preferences may change, so we allow for exchanges or store credit if you change your mind about a book purchase within the specified time frame. This ensures that you can find the perfect book for your needs, even if your initial choice didn't quite meet your expectations. Our goal is to provide a seamless and satisfying experience for our customers, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our return and exchange policy. 2. Products are to be returned in same condition as it left the store; an un-damaged, ‘mint’ condition to qualify for an exchange/credit (except where faulty), with an original copy of the receipt. Items that are returned blemished or damaged will not qualify. The following products are not able to be returned or exchanged and are sold on firm sale basis (unless faulty, then a replacement copy will be given): Digital Access Codes (eBook/StudyON/LearnON/oBook etc.) Software (including eBooks) Stationery (including calculators) Second Hand Books Special order items that has been ordered upon request Custom Books Unless stated otherwise, all credit notes have a 12 month expiry from the date of issue. Please choose carefully and check your quantity input prior to submitting your order as we will not be responsible for any incorrectly ordered products or incorrect input of delivery address. All exchanges need to be made in our Sunshine store. Do not post the book that you want to return to us via post as we will not be processing exchanges/returns received in the mail.   • What are the terms and conditions of the Summer Promotion?
    Our summer promotion is available for all orders over $200 by using the promotion code "BTS24" 10% promotion only applies to selected items. The promotion orders will be shipped out or is available for pick up in mid-January. For Click and Collect orders, you will receive a text message once your order is ready for collection in mid-January. You will be notified of any delays due to late releases or any other delays from the suppliers prior to the collection day.
  • How do I shop the sale?
    For all you earlybirds, you can take advantage of our Summer promotion! The minimum order total is $200. OPTION ONE: Order in store for 10% off RRP 1. Hand in your booklist to us in store and you will not pay full price on most of the school books – you will save 10%* off the booklist price. 2. Pay for your order. And that's it! Collection/Delivery date of your order will be in mid-January, well before school starts again. You will receive a SMS to notify you of when your order is ready to collect. It will definitely be worth it if you take advantage of our submission promotions as you won't have to pay any packaging or processing fees that the school’s supplier may be charging. There are no additional fees to participate in this submission promotion! OPTION TWO: Order online for 10% off RRP 1. Select the items you would like to purchase and add them to your cart. 2. Pay for your online order. And that's it! You will receive notification confirming your order and you will be notified once your order is on its way or is ready for collection in store!     Yes! We give our customers 5% off most books all year round, including second hand prices (second hand books are available in-store only). This discount is also available for online orders so no one is missing out!
